Meet Your Seller
Hey all, I’m Faheem. I’m a woodworker based in the metro Atlanta area. I began woodworking in 2023 with a simple goal: to create custom picture frames for my own space. What started as a personal project quickly grew into a broader practice, and today my work includes cutting boards, charcuterie boards, boxes, tabletops, and coffee tables. My design philosophy is rooted in material led aesthetics. Rather than forcing a form, I allow the natural grain, live edge, and character of the wood to dictate the final design of any project. To achieve this, I utilize a blend of locally sourced Georgia hardwoods and premium, highly figured slabs from the Pacific Northwest, known for the scale and complexity required for heirloom quality furniture. If you’re interested in custom work or future projects, I’m happy to connect. Follow the process on Instagram: @faheem_woodworks

Stillness - Fine Art Wildlife Photograph 16 x 24 by Faheem Jamaloodeen Hand Framed in Brazilian Cherry
Each photograph in this series was personally captured and edited by Faheem Jamaloodeen (me!) during an early morning wildlife encounter along a quiet greenway. Every print is carefully presented in a handcrafted hardwood frame made by the artist. The frames are built from solid Brazilian Cherry (Jatoba) using only structural tenons. There is no particle board like a standard framing shop. There are no fasteners, brad nails, or V nails. Unlike mass produced wall art, each framed photograph is both a photographic work and a piece of craftsmanship. The image and the frame were created by the same hands that witnessed the moment. Print Information: • Archival fine art photographic print • Professionally printed on high-quality photo paper (Bayphoto) • Hand framed in solid Brazilian Cherry • Frame crafted by the artist Available Works in this auction: Stillness — 16 × 24 inches Forest Vigil — 16 × 24 inches Quiet Departure — 12 × 8 inches Not many people wake before dawn on a cold, dreary morning. But moments like this do not wait for comfort. My boots were soaked in mud. My lens felt heavier with every passing minute. The wildlife had been silent all morning. Then I heard a branch snap. She had seen me before I ever noticed her. There was barely enough light for the human eye, let alone a camera. Yet she stood there in the transition between forest and greenway: alert, unstartled, composed. I raised the lens and began shooting. Frame after frame, until the memory card struggled to keep up. She did not flinch. She did not flee. She simply watched. A fleeting encounter. A stillness earned before daybreak.
